My teaching philosophy is that each child grows and develops differently and at their own pace. With this in mind, I take the time to develop a relationship with each kiddo which enables me to understand their learning strengths and weaknesses. I then customize my approach in a manor that caters to how they learn best.
I also believe that trust and respect are the foundation kids need to develop into happy and healthy adults. I teach all students the importance of playing fair, sharing and cleaning up in a structured but loving way.
I began my teaching career in my home country of Brazil where I taught kids at the community church. After college, I worked as an educator in the Safety, Health and Environment division for a large multi-national corporation for 8 years. However, I always knew my passion was early childhood education which is why I've focused exclusively on helping families with their needs since moving to the US in 2016.

I love kids and am so grateful to be working in a field where I can help them grow and develop every day. I believe that providing the little ones with structure and routine helps establish the building blocks they need to be successful when they move on to kindergarten.
I take a very hands on approach to teaching kids at every age about respecting teachers and peers. Its never too early to start teaching these fundamentals. However, we do it in a way that is fun and interactive.
I started my journey into Education in Brazil where I worked for a kindergarten/pre-school organization. My educational philosophy is based on stimulating kids to develop critical thinking skills and confidence from their very first steps, through arts, activities and music.
